Online Orders

Jede Bestellung, die über die Website von Custom Cages aufgegeben wird, gilt bis zur Annahme durch Custom Cages als vorläufig. Das voraussichtliche Lieferdatum wird angegeben, wenn die Bestellung von Custom Cages angenommen wird.

Product availability will be dependent on stock availability and production lead times.

• Stocked cages should be despatched within 5 working days.
• Non-stock items may have lead times of approximately 2–3 weeks for T45 roll cage kits and 2–3 weeks for CDS roll cage kits.

Payment online by the customer is not a guarantee of the delivery timeframe.

Versand

Shipping fees and all customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

• Shipping of a single roll cage kit to a mainland UK address is £45 + VAT.
• Other UK addresses (e.g., Channel Islands) will incur additional shipping charges.
• Custom Cages reserves the right to request payment for additional shipping costs if accessories are added to the order.
• All overseas shipping costs must be quoted by Custom Cages. Quotes are valid for 5 working days only.

Shipping quotes require the full delivery address and a contact phone number. Deliveries to EU countries also require a VAT and EORI number for customs.

Kostenvoranschläge

Any roll cage quotation or estimate issued by Custom Cages, whether verbal or in writing, is an invitation for the Buyer to agree to the terms. No order shall be binding unless accepted in writing via email by Custom Cages.

Quotations are valid for 2 weeks (10 working days) from the date of issue. Custom Cages reserves the right to withdraw or cancel any quotation at any time before acceptance.

Lost or Mislaid Items

Lost items can be replaced at the cost of the customer.

Lost Roll Cage tags will be handled case by case and may incur an admin fee plus ID Tag fee.

Replacement certificates may be issued if sufficient details can be provided and verified. Minimum cost is £60 plus recorded delivery postage. Custom Cages may refuse reissue if required information is not presented.

Installationsprozess

It is imperative that you follow the installation procedures as specified in the document “Roll Cage Kit Certification Process”. Failure to follow the correct process may result in refusal of certificate issue.

• A weld test kit and Declaration form are supplied with the roll cage kit.
• The installer must complete, sign, and return these along with the weld test sample.
• Custom Cages recommends using the correct welding wire for the roll cage material (available on the website).
• Modification or alteration without authorisation may result in certification failure.

Hausinterne Fertigung & Montage

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking along with an agreed drop-off date. Work will not commence without a deposit or senior management approval.

• Deposits allow work to begin on kit/part production and allocation of time.
• Fitting times are estimates and may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Chassis must be fully stripped unless prior approval is given.
• Custom Cages is not liable for damage caused by fabrication processes such as welding or grinding.
• Additional fabrication requests will be quoted individually and subject to time availability.
• Chassis should be collected within 2–3 working days of completion.
• Full payment must be made prior to or on collection day; vehicles will not be released otherwise.

Design und geistiges Eigentum

The design of a Custom Cages roll cage must not be copied by any unauthorised persons unless written permission is granted. Copying may result in refusal of future orders.

Modification of Parts

Roll cage kits are designed for installation with little or no modification. Contact Custom Cages before making any changes. Modification without prior agreement may result in certification refusal. Replacement parts may be charged in full at Custom Cages’ discretion.

Customer Returns

Goods which prove unsuitable may be returned for refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt, subject to the following:

• Items must be unused, in original condition, and complete with all packaging.
• Items returned after 7 days may be subject to a restocking charge (minimum 10%).
• Specially ordered or custom-made items cannot be returned.
• Returns must include sender’s details, invoice number, and reason for return.

All return carriage costs are the customer’s responsibility. Custom Cages is not liable for undelivered parcels or labour charges. Report shortages or carrier damage within 5 days of receipt.

*The restocking charge covers inspection, repacking, and verification costs.

Zahlung

Terms of payment for credit account holders are thirty days unless otherwise agreed in writing. If payment is not made by the due date, Custom Cages may suspend deliveries or cancel the order. Goods may be resold if unpaid.

Non-account holders may pay by bank transfer, cheque, or credit card prior to release. Payment by cheque is not valid until cleared.

Custom Cages reserves the right to charge interest at the prevailing bank rate plus 3% on overdue accounts, accruing daily.
